1997 Toyota Alteeza timing belt

I changed my timing belt but the car is starting after two or three kicks now. The mechanic insists that the timing is correct.

Does it seem like the power output, idle speed of the engine is the same? If so the timing is correct. The fuel pump or filter could be the cause, please inspect and let me know.

Hi
The guy inspected the fuel pump and recommended that I need to change the whole pump house because its not generating enough pressure.
