Keyless Entry System Reset

Where is the button under the dash to reset the keyless entry system on a 1997 subaru Legacy. I've looked in the manual, and there is nothing under the dash that looks like what's in the manual

This button is on the driver side next to the DLC.

I am attaching the info on where this button is and how to reprogram the keyless entry system.

While this may not help with your specific vehicle it should help others that are viewing this page.

Below you will find the specific info from the manual on this vehicle. The pictures are not good as they are older copies, so they are dark. However, it does tell you where it is.
