1997 saturn sl2 broke down. foam comes from the antifreeze container and the car has overheated . What could be the problem?

So is there any oil mixed in the coolant?Or did it just foam up from overheating?How high did the temp gauge get when it overheated?Also was your radiator fan on when it was overheating?Do you have any codes in the computer?
