The thermostat is located at the rear of the engine under the inlet manifold. There is a metal pipe which runs along the back of the engine and enters the main block on the left side. The pipe has two securing bolts, bolted to the engine block. Follow this pipe towards the cambelt (left) this pipe leads to the thermostate housing. It is secured by three 8mil bolts. Remove these also the two securing bolts and pull to the right the pipe will seperate and the thermostat is located.
