What can I do to Fix this Problem?

I have a Pontiac Grand Am SE and the Engine blowed up well I replaced the engine, It came out of a 1997 Pontiac Sunbird. The engine doesn't want to Idol at a red light or pull by itself. I cleaned the throttle body and that wasn't it either. What else is there to do to fix this problem?
