is this a bigger electrical problem

got a 97 grand am. the gauges recently flickered all over then stopped moving in any way, at this time the air conditioning fan shut down too. Otherwise runs great turn signals and dash lights work. was wondering whether fuses went or maybe a sensor.

Have the charging system checked and tested-the alternator might be malfunctioning-start here. Is the check engine light comng On?
