My cars steering has locked up, along with brakes, and the key wont turn in the ignition. What do I do? I have already tried a new key and shaking the steering wheel while turning the key no luck.........................

Have you tried lightly taping on the key with a hammer to see if that frees it up?

I would first try taping on just the key the hole then see if it turns.If it doesn't then put the key in and lightly tap the key while trying to turn the key.
