So, I have a 97 Pontiac grand prix gtp. I started it this morning and it was making a funny noise, thought it was just because it's cold out. I let it run for about 10 minutes, when I start driving it continues when I hit my gas pedal. I make it about a 1 minute before it goes away?

This is the first time I've had issues with the car 'under the hood'. The noise sounded almost like something was grinding.
