1997 Plymouth Voyager brakelightonleft side not working

Brake light not working on left side, checked fuses and bulb ok. Transfer to the right side and it worked.Put back to the left side and it did not work. Please help. Thanks

first thing is doe sit have trailer tow package from factory if it does check your relays. second does the light get power? if it doesn't does the turn signal work. if it doesn't get power then check for a broken harness if it gets power but doesn't 't work check the ground for the light that may be broken or corroded. it grounds at the LH rear quarter panel
