I need help / instructions with how to reattach linkage ( like for clutch:) I have It apart, ready to attach, where do I attach it?
Can you offer any wisdom on how to get the cable to reattach? It seems to be a bit too short. What is the secret?

Using a slight twisting motion, insert self-adjuster mechanism end of clutch cable through dash panel and into pedal bracket. Seat cylindrical part of cable grommet into dash panel. Ensure self-adjuster is firmly seated against bracket to ensure proper adjuster operation. Install upstop/spacer on cable. Connect upstop/spacer to clutch pedal.
To check adjuster function, pull on clutch release lever end of cable with light pressure until all slack is removed. Using a maximum 25 lbs. (11.3 Kg) effort, push clutch cable housing toward dash panel. Cable housing should move 1.18-1.97" (30-50 mm).
If cable housing does not move as specified, ensure adjuster is seated on bracket. If cable housing moves as specified, adjuster is functioning properly. Guide cable through slot in transaxle. Connect cable to release lever. Ensure cupped washer is seated on lever tangs.
Pull back on cable housing and insert into transaxle. Reinstall cable inspection cover. Install air cleaner assembly. Check clutch pedal position switch operation.
