I am trying to change the timing belt on my car. It is a 1997 Plymouth Breeze. I cannot get the crank shaft pulley off of the car. Can you please tell me how to remove the pulley?

After removing the central bolt, evenly pull on the pulley to get it off. sometimes it gets stuck and some WD-40 with a little tapping from rear of pulley should get it off. Try to evenly pull on the pulley, shaking it lightly if necessary. This video will show you how on a similar car

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Needs a special tool that can be loaned from autozone, harmonic balancer puller 3 jaw type. Also yuu will need somthing to stop the pully from turning while you turn the puller bolt. I have done this twice, timing belt and cam seal 96 breeze 2.0 sohc. Not easy
