i have a mazda that shut off running 65 miles an hr and the parts reader said it was a cam shaft sensor can it be done at home easy or does it need to be taken in. was driving it shut off parts reader said a cam shaft sensor want to know if it can be done easy at home or if it needs to go in

first of all, a cam sensor will not cause this issue. a code never identifies a bad part, just a failed system.

you need to have the fuel pressure checked, spark checked as well as the compression. start at basics before throwing parts at it.
