there a steel plate in back and i cant seem to get it out do i need to take the brake roter out or remove the wheel hub can you tell me.

on older stuff i just remove rotor and then rotate stud to area for knocking it out with hammer.

probably same with yours. to install use lug nut with spacer to draw new 1 into place.
