I broke the handle that turns the lights on and off. It is an older car and the handle is located next to the steering wheel. Who would I call to make this kind of repair?

That is called the multifunction switch. It is used mainly on Japanese makes and not because it is an older model vehicle.

Your mechanic should be able to replace the part for you.
