1997 Nissan Sentra car wont turn over

Tried to start car. Noises came from canister purge solenoid. Already checked battery. Will the car turn over if the purge is bad?

Purge solenoid will not cause the car to not start. If it isn't even turning over you need only concentrate on the starter circuit first. Check the fuse, the relay, and the starter wires for looseness first. If you know someone with a remote starter switch or want to go to the local parts store and buy one(inexpensive), then you can easily check the starter yourself. Then you can focus on checking the ignition circuit
