1997 Nissan Pathfinder Told Main Seal Between Transmission Rear End Leaking

I was told my "main seal" (between transmission and rear end) was leaking. I don't see any signs of leaking in my garage. If it is in fact leaking approximately what should it cost to repair? Any recommendations?

800-1000 as the trans has to be removed
