1997 xke nissan pickup. Starter turns over slowly a couple of times and stops. Tryed again, starter relay clicks. Then doesn't click any more. Battery checks good. Head lights and instrument lights are ok. Starter replaced 3 years ago at a nissan dealership. I think the starter relay might be bad but I don't know where it is. Charlie

If the battery and connections are good-could be the starter motor overrunning clutch is slipping, clutch switch and ignition switch or the theft warning relay

Took it to the shop when I couldn't find the starter relay. The starter was bad. I replaced the starter 3 years ago so the rebuilt ones are not as the original. Whatever though, the pickup is running again. I had to park it on a hill when the starter wasn't working. 263 total to get it repaired. Thanks for the help though. Charlie
