i have a 1997 Nissan pick-up 2400 12-valve and it has a problem where when going down the road the fuel cuts off and jerks. what causes this?

I've flushed out the fuel system and replaced both the fuel pump and fuel filter

ok, once again, how do you know it is fuel related?? was it tested?? did you have the fuel pressure checked???

it sounds like we are guessing here. we need to start at basics.
