Clickling nois on start

I have a nissan pick up 2wheel drive year 1997. When I turn it on it starts makeing a clicking noise. How can I fix it how can I find out whats makeing the noise?Please help me with my problem. THANKYOU.

Is it making the noise during cranking over the engine when key at cranking position not on run-

Well its makeing the clicking sound when its on. Even when I gas it the sound is still there.
