how do you adjust a hood or the mounts

On a 1997 Nissan Maxima. Also is there any adjustment for the hood latching mechanism? Is there a way to adjust the hood or hood mounts on a 1997 Nissan Maxima so the spacing between the fenders and hood is even? Is there a way to adjust the hood latching mechanism?

Usually the hood latch is the one thst causes unbalanced gaps between fenders on either side of vehicle.

Hood latch can be adjusted but the movement is limited. Ensure the fenders are adjusted correctly. They can be adjusted slightly by loosening the holding bolts.
