Not sure what word was blocked out, but have the idle control motor checked out, this is the main cause of idle control problems.

The word was j e r k e d. Maybe they thought it was offensive, but I changed my fuel filter and it is still doing it. Where would I get the motor checked out at?

You can try cleaning it, this may help, often a scan will give a code for the ICM, but try a clean first, just remove and clean with a carby cleaner, cheap first option.
