Hello.
I have a coolant leak that occurs only when the aircon is on.
The leak or possibly venting of coolant is very close to the firewall and hard for me to see where fluid escapes.
A lot of coolant escapes.

co-incedently or not the clutch fan seems to be turning very slowly at running temperature at idle.

Why would aircon cause a coolant leak? Could this simply be a busted hose.

thank you

This is water draining firm the A/C evaporator, the A/C system dehumidifies the air entering the system and the water is this being drained away, if in doubt get the cooing system pressure tested just to make sure there is no leak in the heater core.
