transmission not sitting straight behind the engine.

The manual transmission looks like it is slightly tilted to the right visually. I can also feel it in the stick, touching the shifthole side. Never dealt with something like this. Help please :(

additionally the stick moves slightly right when starting to drive in 1st gear, and slightly left when going in reverse? Broken tranny mount????

I would check for bad transmission mounts and bad engine mounts.

Engine mounts were just replaced 3000 miles ago, the engine sits straight and does not move much when reved

Ok check the transmission mounts and bolts holding everything.
