How do I drain my radiator on my 1997 mitsubishi montero ls. My truck is in need of a cleaning as the antifreeze looks like mud and the truck is over heating. I will replace my thermostat after I drain the system and use new clean antifreeze.

Just pull the lower hose off as it won't get that junk out form rad drain as it to small. You should really have the coolant system pressure checked for a h ead/intake gasket leak however. If it's like mud then it probably has oil in it. And radiatior if still in good condition should be rodded out.
