just wondering am I going to have lot of troble replacing this part? and also removing the thermostat?

You should not have a problem doing this, often the hoses are well and truly stuck on, but if you are fitting new, remove the clamps and slice hose with a safety blade, with the thermostat just ensure that you clean around the seal flush the old coolant and bleed the system of air when finished.
