Hello,

The neutral light can flash when there is an error stored in the transmission control module.
This type of error makes the neutral light flash once every second.
This can be due to any number of issues within the transmission or module.

In order to find out what the code is you will have to scan the vehicle and retrieve the code(s). This will require using a scanner that is capable of reading transmission fault codes.
Many OBD scanners are capable of retrieving the transmission codes.

Please let me know what code(s) that you find or if you have any questions.
Thank you.
