The water pump, radiator, thermostat, and radiator cap have all been recently replaced and it still runs hot. If I use a 50/50 coolant product straight from the container should I add any additional water or straight coolant. It also has 2 electric fans. Should they run all the time the engine is running? Can't figure why it's still runnin'hot. Thanks Kirk

What is the symptom that makes you think it's too hot?

The fans should turn on when a certain temperature is reached, typically around 210 degrees.

A 50/50 mix is close to the lowest freeze point you can get. 70 percent is the lowest you can go, after that the freeze point starts to go back up, but antifreeze doesn't hold as many BTUs of heat so it moves heat to the radiator less efficiently than water.

Have you checked for a leaking head gasket?
