The indicators suddenly stopped working but were working fine the day before then I turned the van on this morning and the indicators didn't work and neither was the back window wipers and also the van clock stopped working a couple of months ago if that helps..sometimes my van doesn't change gears as its automatic but stays in third gear.

Check the fuses first, check transmission oil levels and condition, if it is a transmission that is elecrtonicaly controles you will be able to do a transmission scan, start here.
