1997 Mitsubishi 3000gt Bought Mitsi 300 Gt Last Fall After Only Driving About 3

I bought my 1997 Mitsi 300 Gt last fall.After only driving it for about 3 Weeks it started that when i would put it into Drive... I would have to Rev it to about 3000 RPM to take off,Then it would drive fine till next start up,But then kept getting worse til this Spring when i tried to move it again... Now it will not go into Drive at all even with high Revs.. Was told last fall it was a Shift Sensor,But couldn't get one ordered because of the Japan plants all shut down.But now after doing a little Research i believe it may be the Trans Control Module.. It will move/Drive in Reverse every time but will not move/Drive in Drive
Thx in advance for any helpp with this matter.
Just hate to spend over 500.00 for the Module to find out it something else.

have a trans guy scan for codes as it may be an internal problem as well make sure fluid is full
