Is a 1994 3000gt sohc transmission compatible with a 1997

, or have any of the same parts, valves, or solenoids that are compatible with a 97 3000gt? going to get a 94 trany today for $165.00...for my 97. are there any parts that are compatible with my 97? Like the transmission control solenoid assembly? or anything or is a waste of my money? Please advise,

I got the transmission control solenoid assembly from a 94 3000gt for $45.00 and swapped it out with my 97. I was really scared to even start it up...it worked perfect!!! Even the overdrive and it was the easiest transmission work i have ever done. It is now several months later and the car is still shifting smoothly, even after going four wheeling into the mountains looking for GOLD...LOL!!!

By the way...the dealer was going to charge me $980.00 for the part i purchased for $45.00...i advocate pick a parts first!!!
