I don't know any tricks? Do you have a basic set of tools, wrenches--sockets, standard and metric sizes. You shouldn't have a problem. Take the negative battery cable loose. Safely raise and support the vehicle. Take the wires loose from starter solenoid, then take starter bolts loose. Don't let starter fall out and hit you in the face. The top rear starter bolt, may be hard to get at? If you can't get at it any better way, use a long extension and go behind the starter solenoid, where applicable, I'd have to look at it. My info says top bolts are 10 mm, don't know about lower bolt?
Some of the national brand autostores will test the starter for you.
