1997 Mercury Cougar Air Conditioner Unit Did Work Had Serviced Two Cans Freon

The air conditioner unit did not work, so I had it serviced. Two cans of freon were put in, to no avail!! I spent the whole summer in St. Louis with no A.C. Now the heater only blows out cool air!! I replaced the thermostat and put in anti-freeze. It still does not work.

did the compressor come on with the ac??

what were the exact pressures???

the blend door motor may the issue with the heater. can you hear a clicking noise in the dash when you turn to heat??
