My 1997 Mercedes Benz C280 starts very easy but when the motor is already hot(not overheating) it hesitates and backfires. The idle is good and it does'nt shake at all. It can run only 5-10 miles/hr. But it does'nt cutoff. The fuel pressure is good right on the specs. The check engine light is not on. There is no code and no pending code. What is the problem and how do you fix it?

Check fuel filter for clogging and leaking fuel pressure regulator. Pull vacuum line. Pressure should increase. If it doesn't, replace. Also check for presence of fuel in line. If any, replace.
