I broke key inside ignition. I have new ignition cylinder and key, also anti theft ring. How should I removed and put new one in.

Hi,
Yep, the Mercedes ignition switches can be difficult to replace, the steering column must be removed first while using a special tool to remove the switch bezel, start with the battery disconnected, I found these diagrams, (this is going to be a job) hope they can help, let me know how it goes :-)

Because the answer conflicted with other videos I watched . They say u don’t have to drop steering column to remove lock cylinder tumblers !
