Freezing weather is causing my car not to start. It is turning over but want start. Over night we had record numbers in temperature. I think this is causing my car not to start. Im thinking maybe the oil or gas lines has frozen up. Or maybe it has damage the battery somehow. I tried bringing the battery in the house to warm it up but that has not worked either.

Oil and gasoline have incredibly low freezing points so frozen lines are very uncommon and unlikely. Make sure all fuses in the engine compartment fuse box are ok. Check to make sure your oil is not too thick when it is cold. If it is it could not make enough pressure to the oil pressure switch for the engine control module to allow injector firing. Last check your coolant level and repair any leaks.

If its the thick oil, how do I solve this issue. Im clueless because I parked it when I got off, and the next day after the extremely cold weather overnight it just wouldn't crank.
