Clutch Noise

When I put my foot on the clutch it is normal..When I go to take off there is a squeaky sound coming from the engine (not the pedal) seems to happen mainly when car is cold...??

Is this noise when you release the clutch only?

Hi Mark, thanks for the quick reply.
When the clutch is engaged it is normal...as soon as you let it out to drive off you get this squeaky rattly sound. Once you are moving it is normal, and it seems to disappear when it warms up?
Not the pedal, fluid is fine, 150000km, ?? any ideas?

may be a dry thrust bearing, can you get it to chirp (make a noise) just by playing with the clutch pedal idling?
