Car lock

I broke into my car using a coat hanger, now when i put the key in the lock the lock will not open, it turns easily but is not connected to the lock, please help.

You need to remove the door panel to access the linkage. Chances are it came disconnected when you used the hanger.

Remove it and let me know what you find.
