Car will idle,BUT when I try to drive it,it CHUGS and CHUGS and will only go about 5MPH.New wires, plugs,EGR valve cleaned?CHB.

Is the Check Engine Light indicating?
Was any repairs done prior to this occurring?
Does engine speed increases under no load conditions, (revving in neutral)?

Yes!engine light.No repairs.Yes!in neutral I can get it to rev up some.Engine has a slight misfire.I am getting exhaust out of tailpipe so I don't think it is the catalyic converter?CHB
