My 97 tc will start and die until it warms up then once warmed up it will idle but is really rough. Ive replaced coil packs and fuel pump and it is still the same

Clean out the idle air control valve and EGR valve-see what happens

I tried that and it still does it it does smoke white a little to

Still the same I'm thinking it may have a blown head but will a compression test tell me if that's it or not?

You can try compression and cylinder leakage tests-also block and pressure test it
