Around 40-45 mph a noise starts in the dash.

At around 40-45 mph a clicking noise, similar to a card clicking on a bicycle wheel, starts in the dash area. As the speed goes up so does the frequency of the noise. While slowing down the frequency slows also and at around 40-45 mph it suddenly stops. On the highway with a faster acceleration speed, the noise didn't start and stop till around 50mph.

If this cluster is a digital cluster, then this is not a speedometer cable. However, if it is not then the cable is the likely issue.

I attached the info about the cable below for your review.

If this is a digital gauge, then the issue is likely a relay but they don't normally get faster as the speed increases so that is why I suspect this is a cable issue.
