my cars heater blows cool air and wont heat up, a/c works fine. my dash info says i have low coolant but its not low its full. does the coolant level have any effect on the heaters ability to blow hot air?

Check the thermostat, heater core if its clogged and also if the air blend door is opening to the heat position-start here
