passender side mirror

The passenger side mirror on my 97 lincoln conti looks to have been replaced and has become a little loose. I need to know how to get into that area and tighten it all up. The plastic interior trim does not seem to want to come off like i hoped. Clues? diagram? anything?

I know this is not your vehicle...saw nothing for yours

I do believe that this is very similar to what you will be up against.

It should be EZ, I do not know whether the door panel will have to be removed or not.
