i have a 97 Lexus es300 that only goes 20mph. until it reaches 4 rpm then boom rocket ship...I did a diagnostic and said multiple miss fires on 1,3,5 is it just as simple as a tune up or is it more ?

May well be, replace air and fuel filter, fit new leads and plugs and re scan after clearing set codes and going for a road test.

Yes, it could be simple and start with the basics as mhpautos mentioned.

However since the misfire were on one bank of the the engine, it could be more than that. Have the compression tested.
