I have 1997 Kia sportage that probably needs hub and wheel bearings(this is 4 wheel drive) for both front wheels- can this repair be done in one day - what would you estimate the cost of this repair?

What's the symptom? All I can find listed is standard tapered roller bearings. They don't cause much trouble but to replace both inner and outer bearing and to replace the races that come with them should take about an hour per side.

Just to add to this one to remove the races you will need a hammer and a large flat punch to knock them out.To put the races back in you will need to rent a race installer. Also don't forget the inner grease seals.
