Jeep 1997 making whing noise when shifting

I have A 1997 jeep wrangler 4 cly 5speed when shifting or it seems giving it fuel its making a wineing noise

And does the noise seem like it's coming from the tranny, or the engine? Have you checked the tranny fluid? With so many miles, it is possible your tranny is due for a rebuild. They never last forever.
