1997 Jeep Laredo Our Battery Held S Charge Replaced New One Worked While Now

our battery hasn't held it's charge so we replaced it with a new one and the new one worked for a while now its loosing it's charge and the battery is about 3 months old is there any advice you might be able to give us on what might be wrong? Thanks

Test the charging system. Measure the battery voltage with the engine running. It must be between 13.75 and 14.75 volts.
