97 grand cherokee blower speed problem

the blower speed is not working, I replaced the heater control unit in the dash and it still doesn't work. I was wondering if you could send me in the right direction with any ideas. I removed the resistor block and nothing looks burnt. I tested for power at the resistor block connector and only the black wire has power even when the speeds were being switched.

Check the resistor for continuity where it goes in and each terminal of the resistor if no continuity replace the resistor
