POWER WINDOW MOTOR
NOTE:Power window motor and mechanism is integral to power window regulator. If power window motor or mechanism is faulty, window regulator assembly must be replaced.
Removal & Installation (Front Window Motor)
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove front door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL . Pry up on weatherstrip corner and remove inner and outer weather-stripping. See Fig. 4 . Put window in up position.
Remove bolts securing glass to regulator assembly. Carefully lift glass upward and out of door. Loosen regulator assembly mounting bolts/nuts. See Fig. 5 .
Lift regulator assembly upward to release assembly from key hole slots. Remove regulator assembly through access hole in inner door panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
