Why won't my 1997 Honda Prelude go forwards or backwards? It goes into gear fine and gives no trouble until I put it in gear to move. I've also changed the Solenoids on the transmission.

It could be a bad transmission or drive trains. Is there any abnormal noises when D or R is engaged?

With shifter in P, release the handbrake, are you able to push the vehicle forward or backwards? If yes, you have a drive train probleem. It could be dislodged axle shafts.
