my car will not exceed 60mph or tach over 3000rpm it throwing a cel p0335 crankshaft position sensor

my car hits a rev limiter at 3000rpm thru all 5 gears it will not go over 60 mph

I would look at the timing to be sure the belt is on correct. beyond that, it could be a failed cat converter.
